Gillian is a talented soul

With a swish of a pastel or pencil

She can bring the image of a person alive

Before your very eyes

Transforming a blank paper of canvas

Into a wonderful piece of art as if by magic

She can capture someone’s character and feelings

In few short pencil strokes that are so bold

Her hand and mind move so fast that Potter lad

Would be put to shame

She like us all has had her trials, tribulations and troubles

But she refuses to let them beat her, keep her down

She makes the most of her talent

And thak goodness she does

For our heads, hearts, and souls

Reap the rewards in abundance

Allowing our imaginations dance with joy
